Yerin Song

Yerin is a qualified Physiotherapist based in Melbourne with a special interest in Sports, Orthopaedic Physiotherapy and Pilates.

Since completing her studies in Bachelor of Exercise Science and Masters of Physiotherapy, Yerin has enjoyed working with people from all walks of life. Her experiences include working in a hospital setting with acute Orthopaedic patients and helping people with rehabilitation post-surgery (Shoulders, Hips, Knees, Ankle and Feet). Yerin is DMA trained in Pilates and has worked with multiple local sporting clubs (Rugby, AFL, Soccer), providing pitch-side assistance with first aid, match day preparations, injury screening and management. Working as an Intern Sports Scientist for Melbourne City Football Club was one of the highlights of her placement experiences as a student.

Yerin also has experience in Falls prevention and management, having worked in Residential Care Facilities and the community as a Physiotherapist. Here she not only enjoyed leading strength and balance exercise classes for her clients but also providing Manual Handling training for clinical staff looking after patients, in both the Hospital and Aged Care settings.

Outside of work, Yerin enjoys watching soccer, playing futsal, baking cheesecake and looking for the best coffee around Melbourne.
