Originally a Melbourne girl, Sandra obtained her Masters of Physiotherapy in 2015 from The University of Queensland. She has a keen interest in musculoskeletal and neurological rehabilitation.
In additional to a variety of clinical placements, Sandra has greatly enjoyed her time working in neurological rehabilitation as well as managing acute and chronic pain. She has worked with a wide range of patient demographic and their associated co-morbidities. Although preferring her neurological cases, Sandra enjoys caring for and treating patients of all backgrounds, providing:
- Rehabilitation of chronic and progressive neurological conditions (e.g. stroke, Parkinson’s disease, multiple sclerosis)
- Management of ageing, falls and balance issues (e.g. vertigo and vestibular disorders)
- Management of subacute and chronic musculoskeletal conditions (e.g. back pain, whiplash, osteoarthritis, and sports & spinal injuries)
Sandra is eager to share her holistic approach and individualized treatment programs to the western community. She’s always keen to collaborate with doctors, specialists, other healthcare practitioners, as well as the patients, to ensure meaningful short and long-term outcomes.
To further strengthen her skill set, Sandra recently completed her Polestar Pilates Comprehensive Rehabilitation Certification – the highest Pilates certification in Australia. In her spare time Sandra enjoys Pilates, swimming, cooking and spending time with her family and friends.
