Following my graduation from La Trobe University in 2003, I’ve worked in a variety of settings including sport clubs, private practices, rural and central teaching hospitals. However, had mostly enjoyed working in private practice. As a Martial Arts enthusiast, and an Ultra-marathon runner, I understand that a strong core is integral for the execution of all movements, and deeply appreciate the practicality of Pilates.

My zest for travel, culture, and working abroad saw me journeyed through Europe, and residing in the U.K. for a few years in early 2000. I had the opportunity to obtain valuable experience in a prestigious Rehabilitation and Physiotherapy Sports & Spinal clinic in Harley Street, London.  The pleasure of looking after the Fulham & Hammersmith Rugby Club, the Middlesex Ladies County Rugby Squad, as well as working for a period within the over strained NHS.

Whilst continuing to relish in sports and spinal rehabilitation, I’ve developed a liking towards Paediatric Physiotherapy. Assessing infants and children with growth and developmental concerns, as well as running Paediatric Pilates classes to assist children develop better postural awareness, and neurological foundations, for recreation as well as activities of daily living. As an accredited Teacher Trainer and Principle Educator for Polestar Pilates Australia, I also enjoy in teaching and exploring movement, and movement biomechanics amongst students and professionals.

My downtime are spent either connecting with friends over a good meal, bobbing along to a local bar gig, or volunteering at some wildlife conservation events. Otherwise, I love getting immersed in all the outdoor challenges, especially snowboarding and running. My fascination for Trail Running had led me to compete in numerous trail events, ranging from 21km to 100km Ultramarathons. My ultimate goal is to compete a 100 miler event one day.

So whether it’s learning foundational Martial Art techniques for self defence, refining your Running Biomechanics for injury management and competition, participating in Pilates for injury rehabilitation or professional development, or needing Physiotherapy care for your growth and development feel free to leave your enquiries below.  Helping you move, and move safely as well as efficiently is my absolute pleasure!
