Georgie has always had a keen interest in musculoskeletal physiotherapy which stems from her years of participating in the Western Australia Institute of Sport Diving program and later competing in state level swimming. Having seen the benefit of physiotherapy in enabling her to compete on multiple occasions Georgie decided this was the ideal career path for her.
After completing a Bachelor of Physiotherapy at the University of Notre Dame Australia she has gained experience working in a wide variety of clinical settings in Western Australia. Georgie has worked with community services in Perth providing general rehabilitation classes and hydrotherapy programs, spent time working on a hospital ward in Perth focusing on orthopaedic post-operative and multi-trauma rehabilitation and holds experience working in a musculoskeletal practice including a large Clinical Pilates caseload.
Georgie’s passion for sport has continued and she has enjoyed working with multiple sporting clubs for football, athletics, tennis, netball and rugby ranging from community to national level athletes. Georgie enjoys helping people return to their pre-injury function and achieve their goals with the use of manual therapy and functional rehabilitation. She has recently moved over from Western Australia in late 2018 and is looking forward to exploring Melbourne.
