Alexandra has completed a Bachelor of Physical Education from Otago University (2008) and a Bachelor of Health Science in Physiotherapy (2013), making her an experienced and skillful instructor across a vast array of disciplines from rehabilitation, sport, dancing and Pilates.
Alexandra has worked in both hospital and private practice settings as a rotational physiotherapist and musculoskeletal physiotherapist. In 2017 Alexandra worked with the Melbourne Rebels Rugby Union Team and the Northern Blues VFL team. She has also worked aboard a private luxury super Yacht across the Mediterranean Sea for 10 weeks as a Private Physiotherapist and Pilates Instructor. In 2019-2020 Alexandra completed her training in Polestar Pilates Professional Education and joined the team at Dynamic Stability.
Alexandra has always had a keen interest in the medical, health and sporting industry. She loves being physically active and is dedicated to helping people in the community improve their fitness, strength and overall wellbeing. She has a strong background in sport and fitness, working as a personal trainer, aerobics instructor and dance teacher.
Alexandra’s passion for the industry stems from her own sporting background as a professional dancer for the Highlanders Cheerleading Team, competing professionally in Equestrian events since the age of seven and her participation in Triathlon events. Her strong sense of adventure for the outdoors has lead to her to obtain an Open Water (Scuba) Diving Certificate. Throughout her years of experience, Alexandra has developed a passion for exercise based rehabilitation, Clinical Pilates as well as sporting and spinal injuries.
